Hi folks, I am going to Krabi (Thailand) for 10 days. awesome rock climbing.

Wow !! You're lucky Riccardo ! May I ask You which is the best flying connexion from Italy ?

There are several options, it depends on how much time you have got:
1) www.qatarairways.com , starting from different European airports, via Doha (Qatar) to Bangkok. quite cheap, a bit long. Then www.airasia.com from Bangkok to Krabi (and other destinations)
2) www.lufthansa.com a bit more expensive, but direct flight. I am taking this one, from Munich (Germany) to Bkk. Then airasia
3) www.singaporeair.com from different european airports to Singapore, then airasia or ww.tigerairways.com (took this flight last time I went there). but it seems that tiger is not flying to krabi anymore.
I think that, if you live in Northern Italy, the best is either Malpensa or Munich, although Malpensa is slightly more expensive.

Bangkok <-> to Krabi

And how much to sleep+eat there close to the crags ?

Costs:
the flight from Europe to Thailand is 600-650 euro return trip. To fly within Thailand, it is very cheap (return ticket for about 50 euro).
So, the total is around 700 euro. Then to sleep and eat, it is 15-20 euro a day, it depends on accomodation. You can get really cheap rooms, but without air conditioning and lousy toilets, or a bit more expensive ones very comfortable.
So I think that, if you take a 20 days long vacation in Europe it costs the same as going there, since accommodation and food are very cheap.
