Hi !

9b is just about sharing something about You as a climber and Your climbing experiences.
With climbers from all over the world.

A kind of Facebook, Youtube, ... but specific for climbers (from 1c+ level :-) and climbing.




First of all, edit and/or update Your climbing PROFILE.

It's a kind of mini climbing interview useful to:

1) present Yourself to others (as in every other normal party)


2) search and find:

- climbers "connected" to specific climbing areas (and be searched and found by other climbers):

- accomodations, markets and bars close to climbing areas, climbing shops, gyms, instructors, trainers, doctors, journalists, photo and video makers, ...

3) share and exchange our own:
- accomodations
- vehicles
- climbing and travelling tools
- language

9b has rights to decline Your profile.

After edit Your climbing profile, if You don't want to ... disappear :-) , You can:

- post Your climbing ascents/experiences in Your BLOG and/or in "topo guide" groups:

- upload and embed photos and videos

- discuss in the forum

- share some events.



In blogs, groups and forum You can add:

- links

- photos

In this case, please, use options, it's important to check off "create thumbnail" and write a width not more than 700 pixels. If You check off "Popup Window" too, You let readers view the full-size version of the image. Here the result of using options.

With blogs, groups, forum, photos, videos we can build our geotagged multimedia DATABASE for ALL kind of ascents (not just sport routes, but also boulders, dws, trad routes ...):
just try to search an ascent or a crag with the box search on top right of 9b homepage:

If You track Your climbs (every kind of ascent, not just sport and boulders) with Your "9blog", You'll not gain points as in 8a.nu, but you can add more comments, photos, links, videos, search tags.
Your friends can comment Your blog posted climbs and You the same with them.
And if You like competing with Your friends ... there are always magical GRADES ! :-)


To create our dynamic crag DATABASE, all together, we can be much much better than Google !
