Hi Mirthe,Here in malta we often climb in T-shirts even in Feb,and if it rains it never does for more than a day...
Bouldering is a bit sparse and limestone, but crags are plenty enough for sure..from Steep hard tufa-type sport climbs in ghar Lapsi and Mellieha(Up to 8a's),to mgarr ix-xini(Up to 7b's,but mostly 6'ses) and Wied Babu(5' and 6 s mostly),and obviously very good long sea cliff sport routes too..Frank Boggerman, and Baart are friends of mine and frank did a first acsent Bold Corona8a in Lapsi...An article on their magazine "Limits'was published a few years ago and i have a copy:)..Myself am usually free in the afternoons and am glad to help you around with accomodation/route finding and belay sharing of course...i did bolt a few steep routes ,still projects which i want to do...
Thanks for your fast response! We are even more enthousiastic now!
So the best thing to take with us is a rope, quickdraws, and tradgear? No crashpads?
Do we need double ropes or single?
We are looking forward to meet you.
Jeff
