Introduction

Just to say Hi and introduce myself.

I am a keen climber who is also a climbing instructor. I'm lucky enough to live and work in two great areas - Snowdonia, North Wales and Villanueva del Rosario in Malaga province, Spain.

If anybody wants info on any either of these two areas then just contact me - Snowdonia is really well documented, but the climbing around Villanueva del Rosario is still quite unknown. I am trying to - slowly - document it; see the Climbing Areas in Spain page on my site for topos and info.

Regarding Villanueva, You are welcome to participate the referred topo guide group I already created.

For sure, I will fly very often to Malaga, for me is very low low cost ... ;-)

Are there good crags for hot summer ?

The Vva Rosario crags are pretty good in summer - we are at over 1000m and the local climbers have bolted a whole range of crags facing a whole range of directions, The cave of Chilan Balam is pretty much always in the shade and the walls of El Corral (7b-8a+) and Ventana (6c-8a) are in the shade after midday. Loja is also pretty good in the summer.

27crags, climbervoice, 8a and many others are amazing sites, but sometimes, expecially if you worked a lot to envision, bolt, clean routes or boulders, you want to monetize a little your efforts.

9b can help you in this aim.

As you can see here, in 9b there are many " topo groups ".

You can add a discussion in every "topo group".

In your discussion you can edit and publish your own climbing topoguide, as a "paywall", a "destination page", requiring climbers their payment by credit card or paypal to access and read, even on SMARTPHONES (iphones, android phones, ...)
