Need climbing partners for Europe tour

I'm flying to London on the 25th of August(2008) and I have to be in Madrid for the 13th of September. From around the 25th of August to the 13th of September I would like to sport climb...ANYWHERE!!!! But I'm travelling alone until the 13th. I'm looking for partners. I can go just about anywhere though I would prefer to go to Spain since I have to be there anyway. I can lead most things in the 6 (French) range. I get really freaked out at new places though. I'm happy climbing easy routes. I only climb sport and boulder a bit. I have a 60m rope and about 13 or 14 draws. On October 2nd I will be alone again looking for more climbing partners. I would also appreciate any advice people may have about climbing areas to go to and ways to get in touch with other climbers.

Hi Ricky, welcome to Europe !

I don't exactly now when I will be free to climb (I have to work too...), but for sure we can climb together.
Don't worry about the place: in Europe is very easy and cheap to fly, so You will reach Madrid without problems.

if you want to go to norway at some moment, just let me know! i know quite a few good sport climbing spots here... (i'm in canada now, but i'm turning back on wednesday)

27crags, climbervoice, 8a and many others are amazing sites, but sometimes, expecially if you worked a lot to envision, bolt, clean routes or boulders, you want to monetize a little your efforts.

9b can help you in this aim.

As you can see here, in 9b there are many " topo groups ".

You can add a discussion in every "topo group".

In your discussion you can edit and publish your own climbing topoguide, as a "paywall", a "destination page", requiring climbers their payment by credit card or paypal to access and read, even on SMARTPHONES (iphones, android phones, ...)
