What is and how to PARTICIPATE in 9b world climbers party

9b, like two friends, has two colours, two souls ;-)

 

The soul of an online climbing Magazine, with articles, interviews, "topos groups" where You are welcome to participate :-)

 

At the same time, 9b is ... "9book":

 

a kind of Facebook, but specific for climbers, a place to find new climbing friends, a world CLIMBERS party.

 

The main difference with Facebook is that in 9b there are just climbers!

 

And, after You sign up/in 9b, here You have more:

 

 

- a blog (more or less the same blog You can have in blogspot, wordpress, ..., but here Your blog has much more visibility between other climbers)

- a forum where eventually discuss (now unfortunely a kind of desert :-)

 

- Your climbing profile

To edit a climbing profile in 9b is useful because, as much You answer the questions, as more powerful becomes the Advanced climbers search.

 

So You can search climbers potentially from all over the world.

 

As You see, You can choose parameters to search and find a climber "connected" to specific climbing areas ( here more details ), or even a climbing videomaker, doctor, ... accomodations, markets and bars close to climbing areas, ...

 

 

 

If you like the "couchsurfing" idea

here is possible to extend it to the world of climbers, so You can search and find climbers who like to share with You their own:

- accomodations 

- vehicles

- climbing and travelling tools

- language

Some answers from You are mandatory, fake answers mean Your request to sign up will be declined.



As in Facebook, in 9b You can:

 

- add photos and videos

- update Your status (example: the latest ascent from You and/or other climbers)

If You like, when You update Your status in 9b, at the same time, you can update it on Facebook and/or Twitter (just connect Your Twitter and Facebook accounts).



To participate in 9b means building together a tagged climbing DATABASE.
