Armenian First Ascent Open Festival July 1-31, 2009

Have you ever heard about the rocks of Armenia ? I guess you don'... well we have a lot of rocky massifs with basalt columns and limestone rocks up to 200m high still unclimbed.
And to make these rocks known among the climbers society our club Up The Rocks is organizing "Arev" Armenian First Ascent Open festival. which will be held on in five different rocky areas.

Any climber who is a fan of making FAs or just want to join the Festival camp is welcome in Armenia.
