A perfect boulder destination in winter time when everything in Europe is frozen or wet, temperatures around 15 C with plenty of sun and almost no rain, low prices of the low season.
Thousands of boulders all around, in the village, in the backyards, on the beach, in the forest, but merely 1% is worth climbing: the rock is either too loose, or too sharp (bring wire brushes and lots of tape), or with no holds.
Not so good if you want to tick a lot of boulders and to crank every day hard stuff.
You will love Bafa if you like just to be in the quiet nature to spend a lot of time and effort to find the best line.

Where to stay:
in Kapikiri, a beautiful rural village, there are “pansyon”s – family hotels that offer a nice room, shower and tasty Turkish cuisine for reasonable prices, especially in the low season.
The local climbers usually stay and keep a hand drawn guide book of the already opened boulder problems (many to discover, brush and climb in Pelikan Pansyon.
Herakleia has numerous single-pitch trad lines and potential for multi-pitch.
Having a rental car is convenient, for having something to do on rest days too.
There is nothing to do in winter in Herakleia besides exploring ...

27crags, climbervoice, 8a and many others are amazing sites, but sometimes, expecially if you worked a lot to envision, bolt, clean routes or boulders, you want to monetize a little your efforts.
9b can help you in this aim.
As you can see here, in 9b there are many " topo groups ".
You can add a discussion in every "topo group".
In your discussion you can edit and publish your own climbing topoguide, as a "paywall", a "destination page", requiring climbers their payment by credit card or paypal to access and read, even on SMARTPHONES (iphones, android phones, ...)
After having paid, climbers can see, save and print your climbing topoguide.
In this discussion you can add:
1) PHOTOS regarding one specific SECTOR (of routes or bouldering, dws lines)
