Siurana is never deprived of climbers making it a great place to socialize and an even better place to go alone without the worry of not being able to find people to climb with.

Once in Siurana there is no need for a car.

Km from Siurana to: Reus 40, Lleida 90, Barcellona 150, Saragoza 220, Girona 240.

Fly low cost (Ryanair) to Reus, LLeida, Barcellona, Zaragoza (where you can sleep in the new youth hostel), Girona.

Then, without a car, You need to go to Reus  (public transports in Catalunya):

- by bus

It's better, because You can arrive not only to Reus, but to Cornudella de Montsant too: for example, from Barcelona airport directly to Cornudella changing bus in Tarragona (about 15 euros)

- by train (map)

From Lleida

From Barcelona Sants station and Placa Catalunia You can choose to take:
- a train to Reus train station (about 50 minutes), or
- a bus to Reus bus station

From Zaragoza to Reus about 20 euros.

From Girona airport, take the bus to Girona train-bus station, then a train to Barcelona Sants train station.

Once in Reus, you can take a bus, direction Prades (977 75 41 47; 977 22 68 18; 93 231 27 56), which runs few times each day to Cornudella.

Two bus options:

1) Post (yellow and little) bus:
if You go out from Reus train station, to the right You can see the Post office about 50 mt at the right

2) normal bus (4/5 euros, with Plana, 977 54 72 90, 977 21 44 75, www.empresaplana.es):

from Reus train station, walk down to the first roundabout (Placa de los oques, see below map), where You can take the bus.
You can also take the bus in the bus station (see below map), about 20 mins walking from the train station (again down to the above mentioned first roundabout, then left to the Bus station).

In Reus there is a Decathlon, in front of the new Hospital San Juan: to reach it, take the bus n. 60 or 20 from Placa de los oques, n. 60 from bus station.

In Cornudella (Patronat municipal de turisme: tel 977 821 000, fax 977 821 000, email: tur.cornudella@altanet.org) there are several shops to buy food, cafes and a bank.

From Cornudella, 2 options:
1) hitch
2) walk the last 8/10 km up the hill to Siurana, about an hour walking from Cornudella.

Alternatively, from Reus train station, take a taxi (606 19 69 81) to Cornudella (35 euros) or Siurana (40 euros).

To sleep

In Siurana (good without a car):

1) Siurana campsite

Owned by local Toni Arbones - offers basic camping facilities alongside more comfortable wooden chalets.
Prices range from €6 per night for camping to €30 per night for the wooden chalets, these can sleep up to 4 people.
Complimenting the camping facilities is the ‘camping bar’:

In the bar-restaurant you can find topo's, basic climbing equipment, food, drinks, climbing partners (and watch a lot of climbing videos).

2) Siurana refugio "Ciriac Bonet"  Cell 676 88 37 52, refugisiurana@hotmail.com

Siurana refugio.
It offers dormitory style accommodation, with a communal cooking area, shower and toilets.
Costing €10 a night it’s slightly more expensive than the campsite but offers a warmer, more comfortable environment and means that you do not have to bring your camping equipment.
However, it’s worth noting that unless you like late nights, you may be better off camping for a little more privacy and tranquility.

3) some climbers sleep in ... caves ... or in Can Melafot sector either on the cliff itself, bouldering up the small ledge left of the parking brings you to a space above the sector where you are partly hidden from the people below ...

4) In Cornudella de Montsant there is a refugio, with private rooms too (fair prices), cooking area, hot water, free internet, a bar serving food.

Sell on 9b your climbing topos to other world climbers !

27cragsclimbervoice8a and many others are amazing sites, but sometimes, expecially if you worked a lot to envision, bolt, clean routes or boulders, you want to monetize a little your efforts.

9b can help you in this aim.

As you can see here, in 9b there are many " topo groups ".

You can add a discussion in every "topo group".

In your discussion you can edit and publish your own climbing topoguide, as a "paywall", a "destination page", requiring climbers their payment by credit card or paypal to access and read, even on SMARTPHONES (iphones, android phones, ...)

After having paid, climbers can see, save and print your climbing topoguide.

In this discussion you can add:

1) PHOTOS regarding one specific SECTOR (of routes or bouldering, dws lines)

a) "PHOTO topo":

It's very easy to edit a photo topo:

- upload a photo of a rock in a topo group discussion

- drawn the lines

- write names and grades (an example…
