Okay, after returning from the Dolomites, I admit, you Italians have bragging rights. I just moved to Kaiserslautern in Germany, very close to good sandstone climbing and three days later headed off to Switz, Italy, and France to get a taste of European rock. Yeah, I'm in love! I am a teacher and have 8 weeks of summer vacation and every weekend off. I am game for just about anything moderate. I can belay 5.13 if someone wants to work a project. I don't mind long approaches and I have a good sleeping bag. I have a good travel car and very williing to travel.

Yosemite, Rocky Mountains, White Mountains

I love it all...but the Dolomites, Chamonix, and Switzerland are all spectacular

My climbing experience

Moderate climber...was married to my partner for 10 years, but now sniff, sniff, am on my own. He did buy me a very nice rack for a consolation prize for the divorce. I enjoy leading easy stuff and love following anything moderate. Don't mind long approaches.

I love it all, but realistically, I am a moderate climber.
