On July 9th, I finally reached the magic moment and I 've RP Chico Mendez 8a + in Gavi! The day started out very well with a strong wind that is essential, as who attends the cliff know well, to dry the holds and to have some chances on your project. In particular, Chico has at 3 / 4 of the route a right hand sloper and from that you have to go at a good mono unfortunatly oriented towards the right. Without grip the movement is very hard, we must absolutely get to the mono as static as we can otherwise you don't want to injured your finger ... After a warm up on Rah uh (the left-wing variant of Chico) I started with the attempts and already at the first one the feelings were good. On the second try everything is smooth with an almost incredible easy feeling; take the small crimp, dyno to a vertical from two little holes, taking the slopers and then the mono; still a great closure to a two finger pocket, and after a moment of uncertainty the last dynamic to the exit! What a evening!!! I must say that i've need some time to realize my Rp, for a few days I seemed to have done anything new .. nothing particularly hard ... then you rethinks the times you fell, the tries with the wet and all the training, effort and sacrifices you have done to improve day by day and then you realize that everything is necessary for that moment of absolute perfection that appear almost magically. Chico certainly taught me patience and more security in myself, to try to eliminate that part of my mind that every time wakes up and says "you can't do it!" ...the difficulty was all in my mind... that heaviness fall 6 / 7 rounds at the same move, as an invisible wall precluded me the final two movements ... But then everything was unlocked and the Chico went down! I want to thank all the locals (Vito Bruno, Marcello, Angelo) and Carlo Cabella and Giorgio Consogno that have bolted the crag, Eli who bear me as usual and Big that always encourages me ... if I've Rp it is on their that have always helped, supported and insulted me in that evenings! Note of pride ... after did it, another go in the evening was mandatory for take some picture pictures and... Chico left me to go the second time! ;) Photogallery...

27cragsclimbervoice8a and many others are amazing sites, but sometimes, expecially if you worked a lot to envision, bolt, clean routes or boulders, you want to monetize a little your efforts.

9b can help you in this aim.

As you can see here, in 9b there are many " topo groups ".

You can add a discussion in every "topo group".

In your discussion you can edit and publish your own climbing topoguide, as a "paywall", a "destination page", requiring climbers their payment by credit card or paypal to access and read, even on SMARTPHONES (iphones, android phones, ...)

After having paid, climbers can see, save and print your climbing topoguide.

In this discussion you can add:

1) PHOTOS regarding one specific SECTOR (of routes or bouldering, dws lines)

a) "PHOTO topo":

It's very easy to edit a photo topo:

- upload a photo of a rock in a topo group discussion

- drawn the lines

- write names and grades (an example…
