27crags, climbervoice, 8a and many others are amazing sites, but sometimes, expecially if you worked a lot to envision, bolt, clean routes or boulders, you want to monetize a little your efforts.
9b can help you in this aim.
As you can see here, in 9b there are many " topo groups ".
You can add a discussion in every "topo group".
In your discussion you can edit and publish your own climbing topoguide, as a "paywall", a "destination page", requiring climbers their payment by credit card or paypal to access and read, even on SMARTPHONES (iphones, android phones, ...)
After having paid, climbers can see, save and print your climbing topoguide.
In this discussion you can add:
1) PHOTOS regarding one specific SECTOR (of routes or bouldering, dws lines)
a) "PHOTO topo":
It's very easy to edit a photo topo:
- upload a photo of a rock in a topo group discussion
- drawn the lines
- write names and grades (an example…

if talking about camping near the site... yes there is camping site available with a place to shower and a toilet.
cook-wise, you could cook at the campsite..
the video that that u uploaded is at gua kerbau, the place is the best site so far in term of facilities that i mention above.
the best one is that ocal authority has put up lights inside the cave.. yes you could climb during nightime.
It seem very interesting !!
And less than 1 euro a night in Youth hostel too ;-)
How much it costs to rent a car or, better, a van where You can sleep and cook ?
Just to have an idea ...
What about bouldering possibilities there ?
I see You put this video on youtube:
I will look at Your blog and sometime I will put Your posts here in the homepage.
Ciao !
kedah second nortern state of the south-east asia. just about six hours drive from krabi, where most western and european climbers prefer to climb.
climate is not much different from thailand and we share about the same type of food with rice as main staple.
climbing here i believe would be different in term of climate. the rock is between limerock and granite.
there are my climbing sites to explore. as local i and my group of climbers prefer to do single pitch or bouldering at the sites.
frankly i'm not so keen on multi-pitch climbing as i prefer to get my feet back on the ground before the night falls.. ;)
to reach kedah, u could either fly to kuala lumpur and then to alor star, where i could meet you (near my home actually).
or you could take a bus ride or train from kuala lumpur to alor star.
the bus ride is about rm35 or about euro7 and train ride is about rm60 or about euro 11 (hope that my conversion is correct),
there is budget airplane from kuala lumpur to alor star - Airasia .
I' not sure if you could get airasia in european countries.
if you could fly from your country to Penang, Malaysia it would much better since the distance between kedah and penang is about 150km.
youth hostel is less than euro1 per night and it is close to eatery outlets.
if you expect night life. you will be for a dissapointment because not much night life available here... just nature.
climbing here is all year long altough we receive a lot of rain all year.
march until june would be very dry and it is advisable to drink a lot of water. while june until december will be a bit wet.
however as of right now (april) the weather is unpredictable since it would rain either at night of later during the day.
u can check out kedahclimb.blogspot.com for some of the climbing sites in kedah.
It's FUN: me in Italy, You in Malaysia ... we are talking here :-)
I don't know NOTHING regarding climbing opportunities around the place where You live:
come on, tell us something !
You could create a google map like mine and put it in Your profile.
Or just write a short article on Your blog or in discussions, with some links, photos, what You want.
For sure Your shared informations will be appreciated from ALL.
For example, do You know which is the less expensive way to fly there from Europe ?
How much it costs Youth hostels there ?
Best period to climb ?
THANKS in advance and ciao from Italy !
